It doesn't appeal to me in the slightest and while there's nothing wrong with an "unconventional" family as society likes to call anything familial that's outside of societal norms, and I'm just genuinely curious about why some people enjoy this concept so much. interesting how this seems to be a common theme.
Obviously what Simmers do in their games is absolutely none of my business to comment or pass judgment on. SimLicy and Aveline, two YouTubers for example, have a lot of "teen parent" or "single teen mom" builds for homes and apartments - which, in all honestly, isn't inherently sensible or practical - and I just don't understand it. Some Simmers seem to have an obsession, for lack of a better word, with teen pregnancy and teen parenting in The Sims 4, as I've been seeing a lot of it over the past couple of months. I'm just struggling to understand a concept and I figured the best way to shine a light on other ways of thinking would be to ask the Sims community. Let me first preface this by stating that I am in no way telling other people how to play their game or live their lives.
